Sustainablebabyish has the cutest wool longies. These are perfect for fall and winter coming up. Also, I can use the longies instead of a diaper cover. It's great... no covers, just pants. All I need to do is wash my wool in a sloomb cube and lanolize them afterwards (How to lanolize will be another post). I am really considering not using any other diaper then Sloomb. They are perfect. No bulkiness and Sloomb's wool is adorable. They don't just have longies (pants) though, they have shorties and regular covers. This makes it adjustable for the seasons. Most people are probably thinking... "wool is hot and itchy"...Wrong! Wool is actually breathable and Sloomb's products are soft. From top to bottom: Sloomb covers, Sloomb shorties, Sloomb longies, Sloomb cube and Sloomb solid lanolin.

De-stash and re-stash :)

Well i have noticed that despite how adorable the pocket diapers I have are... I hate stuffing them. I am putting my foot down. I want to eliminate the bulkiness and the hassle. I am replacing my pockets... not because they don't work but because I want to save time in my busy life. I am replacing my 21 overnight diapers (Fancy Pants and Happy Flute, same as Alvas) with Sustainablebabyish OverNight Bamboo. Now these diapers are sized and Joshi Jr. wears a size large. These diapers even come in X-large! They are so cute. I plan on buying 10 large and 10 X-large. SIZE FULLY EXTENDED RISE WAIST LEG WEIGHT x-small 13" w/snap down 9"-15" 5"-7" 5-11 lbs small 15" 10"-18" 5"-10" 9-16 lbs medium 17" 12"-21" 7"-14" 14-22 lbs large 18" 14"-24" 8"-15" 22-32 lbs x-large 19" 15"-27" 8"-17" 32 lbs + If I get pregnant I do plan to buy the smaller sizes later on. Also, these diapers have a snap in insert and a double to go over it. They do have diapers they sell cheaper that lost it's doubler but you can purchase doublers separate. This Bamboo cotton is extremely soft and extremely will hold the heaviest wetters. I also plan on buying some onesize Flip covers. I already have one and I really like it. So they would work great with the Bamboo Fitted. I may consider wool too. I haven't found one I have fallen in love with. Now for daytime... I have quite a few different AIO (all in one) diapers in mind to replace my 40 pockets (Bum Genius, Happy Heinies, Fuzzi Bunz, and Kawaii). My first choice for AIO is Thirsties Duo AIO. I love this diapers appearance. It's the most affordable AIO on the market. It comes in 2 sizes... size 1 for 6-18 lb. and size 2 for 18-40 lb. I plan on buying size 2, my son weighs 24 lb. My second choice... I already have 2... Blueberry Simplex 2.0 AIO. I absolutely love this diaper on my son. I won'[t buy too many though. Maybe just the newer prints because this diaper stains easy and for the cost, I don't see it being very cost efficient. This is a onesize diaper. It fits 10-35 lb. and has great color choices! My third choice is Tots Bots Easy Fit AIO Hook and Loop. I love the fact that this diaper has a minky inner and not microfiber. They come out with limited edition prints. So I definitely NEED the boyish limited edition in "London" and I love the nursery rhyme prints. I don't like hoe the snaps look in this diaper pattern but I need to have some hook and loop so that what I will be getting... one of each gender nutral and boyish color and print. Thats all my choices. I will buy one of each diaper before investing and let you all know what I think of each one. Please comment and let me know if you have any experiences with these. Also, all these diapers are available at Kissed By The Moon. I will post a link below. <3

I want me back<3

For those of you that knew me... Before Army... You know I'm not the same. As the mad hatter would say, "I lost my muchness". Well I'm tired of being calm and scared to get in trouble over stupid stuff. Guess what... I'm back :) I'm changing my hair how I want it too. No more natural. I miss the bubbly-go-for-what-I-want-prissy-bitch I used to be. I know what I want out of life but I'm not gonna be somebody else doing it. So ladies and gents... Hold on to ur hats cus this is going to be a complete transformation.

A little girly <3

As a child, we watch fairy tails and wish we were princesses. I myself wished I was the little mermaid (I like her because she had red hair like mine did when the sun shined on it). We grow up to find out our "prince charming" isn't so charming. It's heart breaking and we suddenly lower out standards to wishing they would help out around the house. I want one moment. A moment when the man I fall in love with steals my heart and makes the world around us stop. I want to be so over whelmed I could hear my own heart beat. Maybe I'm too girly or too emotional. I think every woman deserves a heart filled, unforgettable moment that brings them to tears. So, to ALL men out there... Know I'm not alone. Make your woman feel like that princess she dreamt of.

Happy birthday Joshua!

Lovey jr. Turned 1 on the 24th. It went by so fast! He's no longer my little baby. He's growing more and more and I think the biggest change was within the past few months. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. Is it possible to have baby fever all over again?

Cj's Butter... Love it! Here's All the Scents

This list was copied off the CJ's website... I will be reviewing some as soon as they come in the mail and I will give my opinion.

Scent Descriptions
Essential oils and EO blends:

  •  All Natural Mango, Sugar & Mint: Sweet, ripe notes of mango with the tiniest kiss of mint to keep things crisp and fresh. This fragrance blend is derived completely from the constituents of essential oils and other plant materials (using steam distillation and fractional distillation). It is 100% free of any synthetics, including phthalates, parabens, sulfates, glycols, petrochemicals, and solvents.
  •  Caribbean Therapy EO blend (vetiver, bay & lime): discontinued soon, supplies limited.
  •  Frankincense & Myrrh EO blend Intrigue EO blend (orange, lemon, petitgrain): discontinued soon, supplies limited
  •  Lavender EO Lavender & Tea Tree EO blend
  •  Lemon Grove EO blend: a wonderful blend of garden herbs and sparkling citrus notes. Hearty lemongrass and fresh, earthy sage combine with ginger and geranium to complete this uplifting scent!
  • Madagascar EO blend: Notes of rich ylang ylang are seduced with a tease of jasmine and softened with creamy vanilla in this exceptionally beautiful floral/vanilla scent.
  • Narwhals & Unicorns : *Because it's MAGICAL!!!* A whimsical, beautiful and aromatherapeutic blend of pure lavender and bergamot essential oils
  • Sensuality EO blend (ylang ylang & myrrh): discontinued soon, supplies limited
  • Summer Sunrise (Bergamot EO)
  • Sweet Orange EO
  • Tea Tree EO
Fragrances (Synthetic):

  • Bamboo & Lotus Blossom (light and flowery): Bamboo & Lotus is a soft clean scent combining bright, green notes of freshly cut bamboo and crisp, fragrant lotus blossom.
  • Blueberry Crumble: A pleasing blend of plump summer ripened blueberries, and crispy oatmeal topping warm from the oven. Rich and buttery, with a hint of spice and vanilla.
  • Coconut Lime Dream: A luscious blend of creamy coconut and tangy lime.
  • Cucumber Melon: A hot afternoon, and a blend that cooled the warm summer day! This baby is fantastic!! Top notes of fresh cucumber, ripe melons, apple, and pear lead to a floral heart of muguet, rose, jasmine, and cyclamen. A rich, sweet drydown is provided by oakmoss and vanilla.
  • Honeyed Patchouli: Okay all you Patchouli haters, you've got to try this! All of my testers gave it 2 thumbs up!! The sweet smell of honeycomb wrapped around patchouli twigs. With light notes of candied fruit & lemon peel.
  • Love Spell: Top notes of peach, mango, strawberry, and mandarin flow into a complex middle of apple blossom, rose, tamarind, and coconut milk. The fragrance is completed with smooth notes of musk, vanilla, and precious woods. Bottom Line: A very likable scent, bursting with juicy peach and mango, and perfect for the hot, hot days of summer.
  • Lullaby Baby Lotion: This is a gorgeous, soft, irresistible designer baby fragrance! With soft notes of leafy green, peach, melon, coconut and honey, and reminiscent of Johnson's Baby Magic lotion, this fragrance is a tribute to the softness and innocence of babies.
  • Monkey Farts: You asked for it and we listened!! For once the rather unattractive name is not an indicator of the quality of this excellent fragrance. A truly unique fragrance that begins with top notes of fresh banana and juicy grapefruit, middle notes of kiwi, bubblegum, and strawberries; and a hint of vanilla as a base note.
  • My Pixie Pie: Named after CJ's pet name for her little girl. A beautiful mixture of cherries, toasted almonds and finished with a touch of vanilla and coconut, this sweet fragrance is aptly named. BOTTOM LINE: A princess in pink, with some fairy wings and a tutu, poised and ready to tackle big brother when the mood strikes.
  • New Mown Hay: the perfect combination of earthy and sweet! It is an unpretentious, down-home blend of fresh hay notes brightened by a touch of citrus and floral. Did I already say unpretentious? Good, because there's no perfumey, show-offy, big city hijinks in this here scent.
  • Oatmeal, Milk & Honey: This blend is a perfect marriage of oatmeal, milk, and honey mellow, soothing, with just a hint of sweetness: the comfort food of fragrance.
  • Persian Pear: Sweet pears with a hint of spices that make this scent soothing and relaxing.
  • Pink Sugar: This boutique best-seller begins with notes of sweet, sugary lemon drops and pink cotton candy. A fruity-floral middle of red fruit, fig leaves, caramel and raspberry leads to a sweet vanilla-musk base. BOTTOM LINE: Here's your chance to smell like sugar, Sugar!
  • Sweet Memories (Awapuhi): Have you ever encountered a scent that just takes you back to a special time and place? This Awapuhi (Ah-vah-poo-hee) scent is named for CJ's mom. It's a dreamy, clean scent used in many salon shampoos. Technically a fruity-floral scent, it stands out from the rest as it is light, airy, super clean, and not particularly floral. Give it a try...it's simply beautiful, just like mom.
  • Viva la Juicy: golden amber, Egyptian musk, citrus, lily of the valley, pink jasmine, and warm woods
  • Warm Vanilla Cake: Quite simply the richest, most buttery vanilla in the entire universe! (Mark's employee "second favorite")
 Especially For Men:

  •  Fireside: Super sexy yet subtle combination of cedarwood, sandalwood, leather, rich amber and cashmere musk BOTTOM LINE: Tom Selleck by the campfire in "Last Stand at Saber River"
  • Green Irish Tweed: Who couldn't adore this light, but masculine fragrance type from Creed? A fruity top note of lemon verbena, middle notes of iris & violets & at the base is sandalwood & amber. You will not be disappointed with this refined, gentleman's scent. Masculine, yet light enough for your baby boy!! BOTTOM LINE: Cary Grant in "His Girl Friday"
  • Nomad: A rich combination of sandalwood, carnations and musk. BOTTOM LINE: Antonio Banderas in "The Mask of Zorro."
  • Sea spice: A truly gender neutral ocean scent sure to please! Rugged, yet refreshingly light. Fresh top notes of ozone ("fresh air") and citrus lead to a soft middle of sea kelp and champagne. This shore essence is completed with soft notes of driftwood, musk, and just a hint of Indonesian clove oil. BOTTOM LINE: George Clooney in "A Perfect Storm"
  • Tuscan Herb: Intoxicating aromas of fresh-picked tomatoes, red currants, leafy greens and Italian basil, with underlying tones of earth and sandalwood. BOTTOM LINE: Brad Pitt in "Ocean's Eleven"
*Any flavors or fragrances not specifying that they are either EO's (essential oils) or all natural are synthetic and are NOT all natural. The manufacturers of these fragrance oils do not disclose their ingredients, and are not required to. They are all phlalate-free, but beyond that, we do not know what the ingredients are. As always, in order to live up to the All Natural name, and avoid any synthetics, we always recommend using natural/unscented products

New Spring prints and Colors :D

So excited about the new colors and prints coming out!
These are all great. They would look great on boys or girls.
Thirsties came out with this cute fun print. This print is called Polka Dance.

Rumparooz came out with two new prints. I absolutely love them. The one on the left is called Dexter and the one on the right is called Quinn. I am really considering buying some covers for Joshi. He would look great in Quinn with his complexion.

Grovia's new colors are Citrus and Persimmon. These would make a perfect addition to any stash. Colors are unisex and very bright.

FuzziBunz came out with these two prints on behalf of autism. I think they are absolutely beautiful. I need size larges lately for my son so I am gonna grab these quick. These are limited addition.  On the left is called Swirls and the right is called Puzzle.

These new colors and prints are not helping my cloth diaper addiction! Now, you all know where I'm gonna send you to pick these wonderful diapers... Kissed by the Moon! You will find the link posted a few times throughout my blog. Have fun shopping and please feel free to leave comments.

First time apart

This is the first time my son is spending time away from me... 3 weeks. I'm overwhelmed, lost, and broken hearted. I'm not use to the awkward silence without the baby. He's not crawling up my leg when I do the dishes. I was able to use the restroom alone. My mornings are boring... Along with the rest of my day. My nights are lonely cus I nobody to cuddle. I miss my son so much. It's only the second day, will this get easier. I'm scared of losing my bond with him. What if he's not my baby anymore when he comes back? Its becoming depressing. I'm not hungry but I got light headed so I made myself eat. I'm tired, didn't sleep too good. Anyways... I can do this. What to do... What to do... Hop on my sewing machine? I need to leave my phone alone and let my sons father have his daddy time. Oh but boredom keeps sinking in! Ugh!!!!

Breast Feeding- Mission to Quit Day 2

Well Joshua is 9 months old. I knew this day would come and I wanted to ween him. However, I feel overwhelmed that I won't have that bond with him anymore. Joshua is spending 3 weeks with his daddy. It's been one day since he has been in Georgia, I'm in Michigan, and I have been lost. His daddy time was much needed and over due I will admit but I didn't think this was how I would ween my son. It makes me sad and I'm still pumping cus my boobs hurt. However on an up side of the whole situation. I was told Joshua has taken to the formula like he loved it and was drinking it all along. It grosses me out... formula stinks. :(
